Individual mergence of furniture and architecture
The future world of living is seeking for adaptable environments to optimize spatial use, function and sustainability. These concepts have to accommodate the diversity of inhabitants, their routines and needs, to allow personal creativity. I want to promote individualism within domestic spheres.
Just like aquatic corals taking shape according to their environment and marine life inhabitants, I want to connect the architectural environment with its dwellers. Fuse Skin is a customizable architectural surface that allows existing qualities to morph into new ones - creating new individual living identities within defined architectural spaces.
Existing qualities of physical shapes can be interpreted in several variations giving not only room for play but also new possible uses. Hence creating a symbiosis between furniture and architecture.
